McKinley Park News – Let’s talk about CIMA (and helping Chicago journalism)

Posted on October 15, 2022

The Chicago Independent Media Alliance (CIMA) stands alone in our Midwestern metropolis as the most active and important support channel for local journalism.

Comprised of more than 60 independent Chicago media outlets, CIMA brings together all kinds of online publications, print newspapers, podcasters, video producers and others who publish high-quality, original media for local and national audiences.

You may have seen our group’s current fundraiser at https://savecchicagomedia.org which has so far raised over $60,000. The McKinley Park News is extremely grateful to be part of the overall fundraiser, as well as the direct donations we have received from supporters like you. Thank you so much for supporting journalism for our neighborhood!
